VigilSAR delivers all-weather, day-or-night intelligence from twelve open and commercial SAR constellations — including sub-meter X-band from Capella and Umbra — plus your own proprietary imagery, fused with live AIS, OSINT, and change detection. Built for analysts and operators, not PhDs.
Adversaries exploit weather, darkness, and camouflage. SAR sees through all of it. VigilSAR operationalises the data into decisions.
Optical imagery is useless at night, through clouds, smoke, or volcanic ash. SAR works through all of them.
Radar is its own light source. No sun angle required. Identical results at 3 AM local and at noon.
Metal and surface responses are physical, not cosmetic. Paint, netting, and optical camouflage don't fool a radar return.
Open constellations (Sentinel-1, NISAR, OPERA) cover the entire globe at no cost. No airspace permissions required.
Six pre-configured profiles covering the most common ISR tasks. Every profile exports to GeoJSON, CSV, KML, PDF, and fires a signed webhook into your C2 / SIEM. AOIs, detections, and analyst notes persist as case files for handoff.
Ship detection with wake analysis for speed and heading. Every detection is cross-referenced against the live AIS feed — vessels without a matching transponder surface as priority leads. Sanctions-busters, grey fleets, and tanker-to-tanker transfers rise to the top of the queue automatically.
Airbase-aware classifier detects fixed-wing on aprons and runways. Every aircraft detection is checked against live ADS-B — anything flying without a cooperative transponder is flagged. Change detection surfaces new hangar, apron, or revetment construction between acquisitions.
Vehicle and convoy classes. Camp and equipment detection. Contacts persist across acquisitions so the same staging area is recognised pass after pass — new units stand out against the baseline. Activity-gathering alerts surface assembly areas for analyst review.
CFAR + InSAR coherence loss identifies fresh ground disturbance. Debris-field classifier supports rapid post-strike BDA.
Container and crane tracking. Weekly delta reports. Exports to GeoJSON and KML for direct GIS handoff.
Debris-field + 5-class change classifier within hours of an event. Generates stamped PDF reports with before/after, lat/lng, and confidence.
Three capabilities that let an analyst trust the screen — and that a JTAC or collection manager can actually act on.
Every detection renders as a NATO APP-6 / MIL-STD-2525D military icon with the proper affiliation frame — friendly blue, hostile red, neutral green, unknown yellow. Twenty object classes mapped to their canonical SIDC codes. Analysts recognise the symbols on day one; no platform-specific training, no cognitive overhead. Coalition briefings work out of the box.
The same vessel keeps the same contact identity across weeks of observation — not a fresh detection every pass. Stable contact IDs re-associate automatically on each new acquisition based on class, proximity, and temporal coherence. Label a track once as hostile and the classification carries forward to every future observation. The foundation for pattern-of-life, port dwell, and convoy analytics. Timelines, not snapshots.
Every maritime and air detection is cross-referenced in real time against live AIS and ADS-B feeds. Vessels with disabled transponders — sanctions-busters, grey fleets, illicit tanker-to-tanker transfers — are flagged for priority review with nearest-neighbour distance so analysts can judge confidence. Aircraft flying dark rise to the top of the queue. Analyst time goes to the leads that actually matter.
Every detection exports as 10-digit MGRS, WGS84 latitude and longitude, altitude above sea level from a global DEM, and a per-sensor Circular Error Probable. Analysts copy the grid straight into calls for fire, target nomination packets, or coalition briefings without a separate mensuration step. Uncertainty is explicit — buyers know what they can and cannot act on.
Found a gap? Submit a new tasking request to Capella, Umbra, or ICEYE directly from the area-of-interest panel. Your vendor API key stays yours — transmitted once over TLS to the vendor and cleared from memory after submission. VigilSAR never stores, logs, or holds credentials. Close the loop from detection to re-collection without leaving the map.
Smart recommendation engine selects the optimal source per region and mission. C-band, L-band, X-band; sub-meter to ~30 m resolution. Historical archive back to ERS-1 (1991).
Both open-data catalogues are now first-class sources alongside Sentinel-1 and ICEYE. Ideal for proof-of-concept evaluations before wiring your commercial tasking subscription.
Ingest proprietary or commercial SAR imagery alongside the open catalogue: Airbus, Kleos, Satellogic, Capella commercial tasking, classified national constellations, or your own UAV / airborne radar. VigilSAR accepts GeoTIFF / Cloud-Optimized GeoTIFF inputs and runs the full detection, change-classification, and InSAR pipeline against them — no vendor lock-in.
Two-stage pipeline: CFAR bright-target detection followed by a ResNet-18 classifier trained on xView3 (maritime) and SpaceNet-6 (urban SAR) with published precision/recall per class. Scene-aware (maritime, land, urban, airbase). Georeferenced markers with confidence scores — ready for C2 hand-off.
Plus specialised detectors: ship wake analysis (Radon transform — estimates speed and heading), InSAR coherence change, and a 5-class change classifier (construction, demolition, flooding, vegetation loss, no-change).
Defense procurement demands control over where data lives and who can touch it. VigilSAR ships in three configurations — hosted in your jurisdiction of choice (EU, US, Canada, UK, AU), on your own hardware, or fully air-gapped. Pick what your authority-to-operate allows.
Fastest path to value for unclassified work.
Runs on your GPUs, inside your network.
